Rabjot Kaur talks to us about art as therapy and her experiences how she develops positivity around her with her vibrant artworks.


How does art help you cope up with your mental health?

My indulgence in art has done wonders for my mental health. The process of drawing is itself therapeutic. I love to draw illustrations which promote self love, positivity and are motivational. I use vibrant colours which bring instant happiness and positivity to ones life and helps in creating a healthy mindset.

Art is my inspiration to create a safe space for me as well as for others , where we can express more , participate actively and change negatives to positives. It inspires me to change myself for good.


The file of my recent artwork "Wherever life plants you, bloom with grace" is attached below. The artwork portrays that times can be tough but we have to be tougher ! whatever situation god keeps us in we should face it with strength and even pass that strength to others.


Why is creating art about mental health is important for you ?


Creating art about mental health is important for me as it helps me to prioritise and love myself . It inspires me to help others as well through my art .
